Shirecliffe Community Centre is managed by Shirecliffe Community Forum, a charitable company. The company is responsible for overseeing the management of the building ensuring that we can provide “regeneration for the next generation”. It is a community led project which aims to provide access to a wide range of activities and services previously unavailable in the area. All its Directors are local residents and volunteers who play an active part in the management of the Centre.

The newly refurbished and extended building was officially opened in April 2007. The previous existing Centre has been extensively refurbished but has kept its original Stage and Parquet Floor. The extension to the rear of the building is a two storey office block comprising largely of office space which is rented out on a commercial basis. The income generated from this will enable SCP to sustain and maintain the community centre for the benefit of the community in future years.

To develop and manage Shirecliffe Community Centre for the benefit of all members of the Shirecliffe community by providing open access to services and activities, both social and commercial.
